Career Stats:
My favourite player of all time, one of the greatest players of all time, and newly minted holder of the all-time goal-scoring record. Going into his age-40 season, expectations are still sky high as Ovi is coming off one of his highest goal-scoring rates he's had in his illustrious career. The reason he comes in a bit lower than most people would think is that his usage dropped quite a bit last season. Spencer Carbery is using Ovi in a more sheltered role, so his overall impact is less than it has been for the majority of his career. With that being said, Ovi only needs one shot to change a game.

Career Stats:
Two things have become abundantly clear about the Senators' captain: he shoots everything, and he hits anything that moves. Tkachuk had a down year offensively, but as the Sens' 5-on-5 play improves, the production will likely come back. Look for him to make it back to the 70-point mark.
2024-25 Stats:
Career Stats:
Morrissey has been one of the most consistent offensive defencemen over the last few seasons, and he demonstrated this by producing his third straight 60-point season. His steady presence gives the Jets a calming influence, controlling the pace of play from the back end. Look for him to continue his production this season.

Career Stats:
Bill Guerin gave a big vote of confidence to Boldy not only when he signed Boldy to a $49 million contract, but also when he stated that Boldy has 50-goal and 50-assist potential. After averaging 70 points in his first 3 full seasons, a breakout should be on the horizon for Boldy.
2024-25 Stats:
Career Stats:
Evan Bouchard is an incredibly polarizing player. On the one hand, he is an impeccable offensive talent; his offensive IQ, passing ability, and shot are all above average. His defensive ability is not all bad, but it highlights his less desirable side, where he occasionally makes lazy decisions with the puck or shows a lack of effort in recovering after a bad pinch. But the good far outweighs the bad.

Career Stats:
Raymond has upper-echelon speed and his production took another step last year as he became any even more consistent producer. He ranked 30th in the league in primary assists and is the focal point of a Red Wings offence that has been in dire need of a star. It feels like Raymond has another gear, especially in the goal scoring department.
2024-25 Stats:
Career Stats:
Stützle's potential is through the roof, and he already has a 90-point season on his ledger to prove. But after back-to-back seasons not reaching that plateau, he falls into the category of Sens players who took a step back offensively, mainly due to a lack of 5-on-5 scoring. His assist numbers have held up, but he's going to need to shoot more to reach the 30-goal mark again, and I think he does it.
2024-25 Stats:
Career Stats:
Thomas has become one of the league's elite playmakers, notching back-to-back 60-assist seasons, and has become the catalyst for a revitalized Blues offence. He doesn't shoot very often, so 20-25 goals may be his ceiling, but his playmaking alone makes him one of the league's top centers, and that will continue this year.
2024-25 Stats:
Career Stats:
Consistency. There is no better word to describe Adrian Kempe than that one. His per 82 game average for goals the last 4 years is 36 and he is showing no signs of slowing down. His combination of speed and a lethal shot make him a constant threat. He's also sneakily had 4 straight 100+ hit seasons as well, adding another dimension to an already great player.

Career Stats:
McAvoy has had a rough few years due to injuries, the most significant of which occurred during the 4 Nations tournament, where he injured the AC joint in his right shoulder, causing him to miss the last 25 games of the season. Going into this season fully healthy, McAvoy will once again be one of the most feared defenders in the league. He should reach double-digit goals and around 50 points while playing with a physical presence and stout defence.
